1. What StemConsole is
StemConsole ("the Service") is an AI audio tool that separates music recordings into stems and lets you mix and download the results. The Service is operated by Dan Murtagh ("we", "us") from Victoria, Australia. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
2. Your content and your responsibility
You keep all rights you hold in audio you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process and temporarily store your audio solely to provide the Service (separation, playback, downloads, shareable sessions).
You must have the right to process the audio you upload. Recordings are typically protected by copyright; separating stems does not grant you any rights in the underlying recording or composition. Using extracted stems commercially generally requires permission from the rights holders. You are solely responsible for how you use the output, and you agree not to use the Service to infringe anyone's rights.
3. Accounts and fair use
Some features require signing in (Google or email link). Free accounts include a monthly number of splits; Pro accounts include a higher monthly allowance, which is a fair-use cap, not a target. We may apply technical limits (file size, rate limits) to keep the Service healthy, and may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or attempt to circumvent its limits.
4. Subscriptions and billing
StemConsole Pro is billed by subscription (monthly or yearly) through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time via the billing portal and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. If you've been billed in error or something is broken, contact us and we'll make it right.
5. Stored files
Generated stems and shared sessions are stored temporarily (currently up to about 90 days) and then deleted automatically. Download anything you want to keep. We may change retention periods to manage the Service.
6. The Service is provided "as is"
AI separation quality varies with source material, and the Service may be modified, interrupted or discontinued. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be flagged on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
